My Story
Hi, Welcome to Guide for Adventures!
I will tell you about the different possibilities of going abroad for a longer period, give some advice for stuff like packing, possible language learning, and other traveling-related things, and share some of the coolest places I have visited. My plan is to be like your online international coordinator, who helps to find out the best possible way for you to go abroad. So hopefully my stories can be useful for you to plan your own adventures!
I am from Finland (that is why my name has two I:s), and I adore traveling. I have been lucky to be able to experience quite a lot of the world already in my life. So far, I have visited 18 countries around Europe. I am constantly looking for new, cool ways to go abroad preferably for a longer sojourn.
So far, I have been a volunteer in a kindergarten in Vienna, worked as an au pair in the English countryside, done an Erasmus exchange in France, and spent a summer in Germany for an internship. I have explored countless cities and seen interesting places. This blog is based on those experiences.
This blog is my side hustle when I am not doing my “main hustle” which is studying. I major in history, which is my other passion. This can also be seen in my travel experiences: I enjoy the most visiting historical places, seeing beautiful old buildings, and wandering in museums.
I got the idea to start a travel blog when I was scrolling blog posts about packing tips before Erasmus. For some reason, the stuff Pinterest algorithms gave me was not exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I could fill this apparent void by starting my blog.
After a long time pondering the idea and many “How to start traveling blog”-posts, here we are! Go explore the stuff I have written for you!
